“ Our hotel concierge told us to go here, as he considered 1000 Gourmet Pizza to have the best pizza in Venice. We had a Margarita pizza and a Diavolo. The service was super fast. We got our pizzas within 5 minutes of ordering. We shared a wonderful sponge cake soaked in limoncello for dessert and enjoyed the house red wine. ”

“ Recommended to us by our local guide, this place had the best pizza we've ever had. Reservations are a must. Our guide says Italians usually order one pizza per person, but knows that Americans don't usually do the same. But, we figured, when in Italy, do as the Italians do! The pizzas were incredibly fresh and lighter than the majority pizzas we have in the States. My husband had the Non Troppo Gourmet pizza (smoked mozarella, spiced potatoes with onion, small beef meatballs, cream of aged 32 months parmigiano reggiano, basil, exu. oil) and I had the prosciutto and figs pizza (can't remember the official name). Amazing! Cozy and not a lot of seating available, so you'll need a reservation. Service was fine, but the pizza outshined the whole experience for us. ”

I got the calabrese, and it had several different flavours that complimented each other. Service was good - we ordered and our pizza came within ten minutes. Would recommend. ”

It took a few minutes for someone to come over and take our order, but we were not expecting to wait a full hour to receive two pizzas! “ Would've been 5 stars, but wow service was so horrible. We had a reservation to celebrate our honeymoon and were seated quickly however we waited 25 mins and didn't see a single waiter. We ended up having to ask the hostess to take our order. Luckily food came out quickly and was delicious but we never did see any waiters in our area and nobody came by to help us outside of initial order so we weren't able to order more drinks or try dessert. Our pizzas were delicious and if the food had been horrible , I would've easily gave them 1 star but I'd recommend eating here as long as you know the service you are getting into. ”
